Food in a stockpile can experience "wear" from vermin, which makes it bad, and can attract flies (unhappy thought) but doesn't go bad on its own. I create stockpiles around my butcher shop to quickly pick up the products and prevent rot, but they're moved to barrels in the main stockpile before use. 2 Reply
