WebFournier’s gangrene is rare. While it’s more common in men, women and children also can get it. The disease is most often found in men between the ages of 50 and 60. WebFournier’s gangrene can lead to pain and swelling in the genital, perineal, or perianal regions of the body. It is a form of necrotizing fasciitis, a condition that leads to tissue death.
